This land is a real paradise for all those travellers who look for dramatic landscapes, beautiful beaches and wild nature. But, it is also the best destination for those seeking a perfect blending of culture, history, good food and wine, friendly people and good lifestyle.
In addition to all that, you can't forget that Sardinia is still relatively undiscovered, it is almost unspoilt in early and late summer, when temperatures approach 30 degrees, you can often have the beach to yourself!
It is also easily reachable: actually, Sardinia is 180 km from Italy, 190 km from Africa and just 11 km from Boniface (Corsica). |
From the north to the south, you can find many of the best beaches in the world, with turquoise water and white sand, pine forests and high dunes.
But, if you move to the interior of the island, you will discover beautiful woods, natural springs, millenarian olive-trees, wild horses, deer, wild orchids and much more.
From September to May you can enjoy several folkloristic events: Carnival (on February or March) Easter's celebration (on March or April) and traditional festivals (on May, September, December). |
